Tia and Luke’s Rustic Chic Summer Barn Wedding
You know you’re in for a fun big day when the bride rocks up in personalised trainers and the wedding car is a tractor. We cannot get enough of Tia and Luke’s amazing July wedding at The Barns at Delbury Hall. Packed with personality, this was a day full of laughter and love. Thanks so much for sharing it with us Tia and Luke!

The St Peter’s Church ceremony
We’re so fortunate to have the idyllic St Peter’s Church at the end of the Delbury Hall garden, and our bride and groom chose it as the setting to exchange their vows. Tia and her bridesmaids got ready in the Bridal Suite at The Stables, then enjoyed the short walk with through Delbury’s gorgeous grounds to reach the church. The most perfect, relaxed start to her big day.
After the ceremony, Tia and Luke released two doves. This age-old tradition symbolises love, peace and a new beginning for the couple, as two families join together. And what better place to do it than in Delbury Hall’s picturesque gardens?
The timeless wedding dress
We love the timeless elegance of Tia’s off the shoulder wedding dress. Featuring a lace overlay bodice and embellished tulle skirt, it was traditional princess style with a modern twist. Paired with a veil and sparkly hair comb, as well as matching pearl necklace, bracelet and earrings, Tia worked a classic bridal look. The best bit? Tia’s white personalised ‘Mrs Chidley’ trainers – amazing!
Tia’s bridesmaids wore floor-length forest green gowns and coordinating dark green trainers, to tie in with the reception colour scheme. Our groom, Luke, looked dapper in his grey suit and checked waistcoat, paired with an orange tie and pocket square.
The green and gold reception styling
The Coach House was a spectacular setting for the couple’s wedding breakfast and reception, with natural light pouring into our 18th-century barn. Tia and Luke chose a stylish green and gold colour scheme for their day, which was reflected in all the little details that brought this space to life. Tiny gold animal figures were transformed into cute name holders, while forest green napkins and gold wraparound napkin rings brought the look together.
Centrepieces tapped into the rustic chic vibe, with large wood slices decorated with glass hurricane vases and white candles. A mirrored welcome sign and seating plan, along with hessian chair back ties finished off the modern reception styling to perfection.
The unique couple touches
No wedding is complete without some unique couple touches, and Tia and Luke really showed their fun personalities off through little wedding details. Forget about a traditional wedding car, our bride and groom took a tractor drive from their wedding ceremony to the reception. With its personalised Mr and Mrs number plate, wedding ribbon and ‘Just Married’ sign, it was the coolest way to make an entrance as newlyweds.
Their three-tiered naked cake featured a personalised cake topper including the couple and their beloved dog. They also treated guests to a ‘Beer Bath’ – a large trough full of beers on ice, for friends and family to help themselves.
While the sun shone for most of the day, Tia and Luke were caught out by an unexpected rain shower. They dealt with it in style by grabbing a couple of umbrellas and getting on with their couple photo shoot. How sweet are these pictures?
Making the most of the great weather (despite that one little shower) our couple and their guests enjoyed the Delbury Hall grounds. Everyone got stuck into rounds of wedding-themed mini golf and games of beanbag toss.
After the sun went down, the party really got started inside The Barns at Delbury Hall. From Tia and Luke’s first dance to the fun photo booth, it was a wedding party to remember.
