Colour-pop weddings
2025 is the year for colour. From colour-pop bouquets to bright and bold wedding suits and bridesmaids’ dresses, 2025 is the year to embrace the rainbow for your big day. We love seeing how our real couples fill their weddings at The Barns at Delbury Hall with a kaleidoscope of colour. Our top tip? Orange is going to be huge for 2025 weddings. Watch this space…

Village fete styling
Barn weddings can act as a romantic blank canvas for you to put your own stamp on things. For 2025, we predict that whimsical village fete styling is going to be a big trend for barn weddings. Think bunting, rustic detailing (we love the upcycling of this wooden palette as a seating plan) and traditional garden games. And, of course, no village fete themed wedding is complete without an ice cream van. Make ours a 99 please!

Social dining
Another trend prediction for 2025 barn weddings is a move towards more informal dining. Work this into your day by opting for long tables and sharing platters of food. It helps create a really social feel, perfect for a relaxed big day barn celebration.

‘No rules’ big day fashion
Barn weddings are perfect for channelling a cool ‘anything goes’ vibe, and one way couples are showing this off in 2025 is through their unique fashion choices. 2025 is all about showing off your personal style, whether that’s personalised leather jackets, bridal trainers or statement sunglasses.

Wedding illustrators
We love the growing trend for wedding illustrators and think it’s something that’s set to be big for 2025 barn weddings. Booking a talented artist to sketch or paint candid snapshots of you and your guests throughout your wedding is such a fantastic idea. It’s perfect for providing some unusual entertainment during your drinks reception, as well as leaving you with some treasured keepsakes at the end of the day

Fun evening touches
Evening guests are in for a treat as 2025 couples are getting creative with thoughtful touches to make them feel welcome. Enjoy alfresco catchups as the sun goes down, keeping guests cosy with blankets and DIY s’mores. We love the idea of leaving out comfy flipflops for evening guests to change into so they can dance the night away.
